02 days trip to Zagora desert from Marrakech

After breakfast, we will leave the hotel or the riad heading to the southern most point of Morocco. We will cross the High Atlas mountains (through the Tizi NTichka at an altitude of 2,260 meters) enjoying spectacular views of the incredible mountain scenery. After this drive, we will visit the city of Ouarzazate (also known as the Hollywood of Morocco) and the Kasbah Taourite (where Rules of Engagement were filmed). Crossing the Draa Valley between Agdez and Zagora, the longest palm grove in Northern Africa, we will experience a 2 hour camel trek to the nomadic tent site. With this, we will enjoy a night of traditional Moroccan music and dance near the campfire.

Returning to the direction of Ouarzazate, we will stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ksar Ait Benhaddou. This spectacular location is not only a stopping place to Timbuktu, a Pasha residence but also a movie site including but not limited to classics such as Gladiator, Prince of Arabia and Game of Thrones. In addition, this will be a keen opportunity to try a local Moroccan tajine. We will also enjoy the magnificent procedure and manufacturing of argan oil allowing you to sample and purchase this Moroccan delicacy used for both cosmetic and consumable purposes. We will lastly end our tour in Marrakech allowing you free time to visit Jamaa el Fna where you will be enchanted by snake charmers and 4dhs naturally squeezed orange juice.
