Itinerary

Depart from Fez early in the morning to make the most of your day through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stop in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” for its European-like architecture and beautiful gardens, near Ifrane you have the chance to observe the Barbary Money in the ceder forest.

Continue your journey southwards through the Ziz Valley, a green oasis contrasting with the surrounding arid landscape.

Arrival in Merzouga, a small village located at the edge of the Sahara Desert Where you will change the Vehicle by the camels in order to go to see the sunset in the dunes and spend the night in a berber camp.

Dinner and overnight in a berber camp.

Wake up early in the morning to witness the spectacular sunrise over the sand dunes. This is a magical experience you won’t want to miss. After breakfast returno to Fez passing by Rissani a small city located in southeastern Morocco, this city was founded in the 8th century and served as the capital of the Tafilalt region. It became an important caravan town on the Trans-Saharan trade routes, facilitating the exchange of goods between Morocco and sub-Saharan Africa. In the 17th century, it became the first capital of the Alaouite Dynasty when Moulay Ali Cherif, the founder of the dynasty, established his rule there. Then stop in Erfoud a town famous for its fossil industry. Visit a fossil workshop to see unique fossils and learn about the craft.
