 Verified Be warned that you cannot spend Moroccan Dirhams at Morrocco airport! And you cannot change your Dirhams back to pounds
I was really disappointed that there was nowhere at Marrakesh airport to change back your Moroccan Dirhams. I had £100 worth left - so about 1200 Dirham but could not exchange back for English money NOR could I even spend them to buy duty free alcohol nor aftershave/ perfume - nothing! All I could use them for is to buy coffee n snacks. Whilst I appreciate it’s a ‘ closed currency ‘ country people need to be aware and not change so much - detrimental to the tourist industry I think!

Before travelling, I was trying to secure transfers to and from our hotel in Marrakech from the airport and found Morocco Airport Transfers. They were easy to contact through WhatsApp and responded very quickly to confirm arrangements and price. The large minibus taxi was comfortable and spacious for the 12 people in our party, the cost was reasonable and they were on time and at the agreed location. Friendly driver, clean and new luxury car. I was recommended by a friend to use this company's car service. This is my 5th time using the service and all 5 times have been great. I was very supportive of them. My friend booked a ride for her mother and signed up for the special service by having the driver send a greeting card to her mother. They were very supportive and her mother was happy. I will try this particular service on my next trip. Don't know if this service has a membership card? I really enjoyed it.
