03 day trip from Fez to Marrakech

After seeing the sunrise and breakfast we will head back to the civilization, driving to continue our tour, we will cross Rissani which used to be the first imperial city in Morocco and the origin of the dynasty Alaoui, where one of king’s family is bared there his name is Moulay Ali Cherif. The city of Rissani has inhabitants who speak Arabic and who have a popular souk where all the villages around the city come to buy their needs there such as vegetables, clothes… and spices that specialize this city too. After visiting the Dades gorges our next stop will be the valley of roses in K’laat M’Gouna where we will have the opportunity to explore the house of roses whose petals are used for perfumes, lotions and oils. By then we will go to Ouarzazate where the solar energy project will provide up to 1.1 million Moroccans with a source of clean and renewable energy by 2018. Before going to Marrakech and crossing the high Atlas, on this day we will stop at the Ait Ben Haddou World Heritage Site where the inhabitants still live within these walls and as well as in the neighboring Berber villages.
